Ruwa Romman

Ruwa Romman is an American politician serving as a member of the Georgia House of Representatives for the 97th district. Born in Jordan and raised in the United States, she made history in 2022 as the first Palestinian and Muslim woman elected to the Georgia state legislature. A graduate of Georgetown University's McCourt School of Public Policy, Romman previously worked as a senior consultant at Deloitte and co-founded the Georgia Volunteer Hub. Her political platform focuses on expanding healthcare access, protecting voting rights, and supporting working families.
