Ryan Turnbull

Ryan Turnbull is a Canadian politician and social innovation consultant serving as the Member of Parliament for the riding of Whitby. First elected in 2019, he represents the Liberal Party of Canada and was appointed Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Finance in June 2025. Before entering federal politics, Turnbull founded the management consulting firm Eco-Ethonomics Inc., focusing on systemic issues such as poverty and gender equality. He holds degrees in philosophy and applied ethics from Carleton University and has extensive experience in academic research and curriculum development.
