Sam Farraway

Sam Farraway is an Australian politician who served as a member of the New South Wales Legislative Council from 2019 to 2024. During his tenure, he held the position of Minister for Regional Transport and Roads in the Perrottet ministry from 2021 to 2023. Before entering parliament, he managed a family-run business in Bathurst and served as president of the Bathurst Agricultural, Horticultural and Pastoral Association. Farraway has been an active member of the Nationals, having held various branch and executive roles, and unsuccessfully contested the federal seat of Calare in the 2025 election.
