Sam Park

Sam Park is an American politician and lawyer serving as a member of the Georgia House of Representatives. First elected in 2016, he made history as the first openly gay man elected to the Georgia state legislature and the first Asian American Democrat to serve in the Georgia General Assembly. Park, who holds degrees from Georgia State University and American University, was inspired to enter politics by his mother's experience with public health insurance. In 2020, he gained national prominence as one of the keynote speakers at the Democratic National Convention.
