Sam Tanson is a Luxembourgish lawyer and politician currently serving as a member of the Chamber of Deputies. A member of The Greens, she previously held several ministerial positions, including Minister of Culture, Minister of Justice, and Minister of Housing between 2018 and 2023. Before her national ministerial career, she served as a communal councillor and Chief Alderwoman for Luxembourg City. Tanson holds degrees from Pantheon-Sorbonne University and Sciences Po Paris, and she previously worked as a journalist for RTL Radio Lëtzebuerg.
