Samuel Santos López

Samuel Santos López is a Nicaraguan politician who served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2007 to 2017. A member of the Sandinista National Liberation Front, he previously held the office of Mayor of Managua from 1980 to 1985. During his career, he has been involved in significant international affairs, including maritime border disputes and the recognition of South Ossetian independence. Beyond his political service, he has held leadership roles in the business sector, including serving as a director of the Stock Exchange of Nicaragua.
