Sanjay Meshram

Sanjay Narayanrao Meshram is an Indian politician currently serving as a Member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly for the Umred constituency. An IIT-Bombay graduate with a degree in mechanical engineering, he previously served as a Rotary district president. In 2024, he won his assembly seat representing the Indian National Congress, defeating his opponent by a significant margin. Prior to his election, he was involved in legal advocacy, including filing a petition in the Supreme Court regarding the appointment process for Election Commission members.
