Sanjay Potnis is an Indian politician currently serving as a member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly representing the Kalina Assembly constituency. A member of the Shiv Sena party, he began his political career as a corporator in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation in 2007. During his tenure in local government, he served as the Chairman of the Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) undertaking in 2007–2008 and again in 2010–2011. He was first elected to the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly in 2014 and was subsequently re-elected in 2019.
