Sarah Lightner

Sarah Lightner is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Michigan House of Representatives, representing the 45th district since 2022. Previously, she represented the 65th district after being first elected in 2018. Before her legislative career, she served as a Jackson County Commissioner and worked as a paralegal. Lightner is a business owner and operator alongside her husband, focusing on agricultural services. In the state legislature, she holds leadership roles as the vice-chair of the Subcommittee on General Government and the Subcommittee on Judiciary.
