Sascha Lensing is a German politician who has served as a member of the Bundestag since 2025. Born in Duisburg in 1973, he pursued a career in law enforcement, serving as a criminal chief inspector (Kriminalhauptkommissar) for the North Rhine-Westphalia police force starting in 1997. Lensing joined the Alternative for Germany (AfD) in 2019 and held local political roles in Duisburg, including deputy parliamentary group leader in the city council and district council of Rheinhausen, before his election to the federal parliament.
