First elected to the federal legislature in 2022, he previously served as a member of the Legislative Assembly of Amazonas from 2019 to 2023. In early 2025, he was appointed as the Municipal Secretary for Women, Social Assistance, and Citizenship in Manaus, leading to a temporary leave of absence from his federal mandate. Throughout his career, he has been affiliated with several parties, including the PPS and PTB, before joining the Brazilian Democratic Movement (MDB).
