Sean Bagniewski is an American politician and attorney serving as a member of the Iowa House of Representatives for the 35th district since 2023. Born in La Crosse, Wisconsin, and raised in Des Moines, Iowa, he holds degrees from Truman State University and Drake University Law School. Prior to his legislative career, he served as the chair of the Polk County Democrats and worked as a federal contract administrator. Bagniewski is a proponent of economic growth, education reform, abortion access, and stricter gun control laws. He is also the co-founder of the New Iowa Project, an organization dedicated to increasing voter registration and turnout.
