Sebastian Sack

Sebastian Sack is a German politician and member of the Landtag of Hesse, representing the Social Democratic Party (SPD). Born in Marburg in 1981, he worked as a secondary school teacher at the Alfred-Wegener-Schule in Kirchhain before entering the state parliament in January 2024. Sack has been active in local politics since 2016, serving in the district council of Marburg-Biedenkopf and the city council of Neustadt. Within the SPD parliamentary group, he focuses on education and fire service policy, while also serving on the interior, cultural, and petition committees. Beyond his political career, he is deeply involved in civil society, including volunteer work with the fire department and the German Red Cross.
