Selcan Hamşıoğlu is a Turkish politician and journalist currently serving as a Member of the Grand National Assembly for Tekirdağ, representing the Good Party (İYİ Parti). Born in 1979 in Tekirdağ, she holds degrees in Art History from Istanbul University and Art Management and Cultural Policies from Bahçeşehir University. Before her election in May 2023, she had a distinguished career in media, working as a reporter, news director, and editor-in-chief for Kanal 59 and Radio 59, as well as a columnist for various newspapers including Yeniçağ. In December 2023, she was appointed as the head of the Good Party's Social Policies Department.
