위성곤

Wi Seong-gon is a South Korean politician currently serving as a three-term member of the National Assembly representing Seogwipo, Jeju. Before entering national politics, he served as a member of the Jeju Provincial Council for three terms starting in 2006. Throughout his legislative career, he has focused on agriculture, maritime affairs, and climate policy, notably chairing the Special Committee on Climate Crisis. A member of the Democratic Party of Korea, he has held various leadership roles within the party, including policy committee positions and regional leadership in Jeju. His political career is rooted in his background as a student activist and local community organizer in Jeju.
