Sergey Tsivilyov is a Russian statesman and politician currently serving as the Minister of Energy of Russia since May 2024. A former military officer, he previously served as the Governor of Kemerovo Oblast from 2018 to 2024. Before entering politics, he had a significant career in the mining and energy sectors, notably as the CEO of the Kolmar Group. Tsivilyov is a member of the Bureau of the Supreme Council of the United Russia party and has been subject to international sanctions following the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
