Shazia Marri

Shazia Marri is a Pakistani politician who has served as a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan since February 2024. A prominent member of the Pakistan Peoples Party, she previously held the position of Federal Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety from 2022 to 2023. Her extensive political career includes multiple terms in the National Assembly and service as a Provincial Minister in Sindh, where she held portfolios for information and electricity. She is the daughter of former Sindh Assembly Deputy Speaker Atta Muhammad Marri.
