Sheikh Faridul Islam

Sheikh Faridul Islam is a Bangladeshi politician, researcher, and member of the Jatiya Sangsad representing the Bagerhat-3 constituency. Born on January 3, 1970, in Bagerhat District, he completed his bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Dhaka and earned a PhD in environmental science from American World University. Active with the Bangladesh Nationalist Party, he assumed office as Minister of State for Environment, Forest and Climate Change following his election to parliament in 2026, alongside engaging in philanthropic healthcare activities.
