Shinsuke Suematsu is a Japanese politician serving as a member of the House of Councillors, representing the Hyogo Prefecture constituency. A long-time member of the Liberal Democratic Party, he has held several high-profile government positions, including Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, and Minister for the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games. Before entering national politics, he served as a member of the Hyogo Prefectural Assembly.
