橋詰昌児

Shoji Hashizume is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the Saitama Prefectural Assembly, representing the Koshigaya district. Born in Kochi Prefecture in 1965, he graduated from the National Kochi College of Technology and worked at IBM Japan for 21 years before entering politics. He previously served three terms as a member of the Koshigaya City Council, where he held positions including City Council Chair. First elected to the Saitama Prefectural Assembly in 2019, he focuses on disaster prevention, child-rearing support, and welfare policies, emphasizing a 'field-first' approach to governance.
