Shota Berekashvili is a Georgian politician and businessman currently serving as a member of the 11th Convocation of the Parliament of Georgia. Since November 2024, he has represented the Georgian Dream - Democratic Georgia party and serves as the chairman of the Sectoral Economy and Economic Policy Committee. Before entering politics, Berekashvili held a distinguished career in construction and investment, notably as a co-founder and managing partner of BK Holding and BK Construction in Tbilisi. He holds a bachelor's degree in Political Science from Columbia University and a master's degree in Risk Management and Corporate Finance from Cass Business School.
