Sigrid Hupach

Sigrid Hupach is a German politician currently serving as a member of the Landtag of Thuringia and as the chair of the Bündnis Sahra Wagenknecht (BSW) parliamentary group. Previously, she served as a member of the German Bundestag from 2013 to 2017 representing the Left Party (Die Linke). Before entering national politics, she worked as a secretary and commercial clerk, later studying architecture and philosophy. Hupach joined the BSW in 2024 and has been a prominent figure in Thuringian state politics.
