Silvia Estela Sapag is an Argentine politician and member of the prominent Sapag political family. Born in Cutral Có, she earned a geography degree from the National University of Comahue and worked as a teacher and journalist before entering public service. A member of the Neuquén People's Movement, she has served as a National Senator for Neuquén Province across multiple non-consecutive terms, including from 1998 to 2001 and again from 2019, and previously served as a National Deputy from 2008 to 2009. Throughout her legislative career, she has been active on energy, women's affairs, and constitutional committees, and supported the legalization of abortion in Argentina.
