Simona Loizzo

Simona Loizzo is an Italian politician and medical doctor currently serving as a member of the Chamber of Deputies in the XIX Italian legislature. Before her election to the national parliament in 2022, she was a prominent figure in regional politics, serving as a member of the Regional Council of Calabria and as the group leader for the Lega party. A specialist in dentistry and stomatology, she has held various roles in health and social commissions, including the parliamentary inquiry into the COVID-19 pandemic. Her political career began with Forza Italia and the Popolo della Libertà before she joined the Lega per Salvini Premier in 2021.
