Simone Venturini is an Italian politician and lawyer serving as the Mayor of Venice since May 2026. Born in Marghera, he holds a law degree from the University of Padua. Before his election as mayor, he served for over a decade as a city councilor and assessor in the municipal administration under Luigi Brugnaro, overseeing portfolios including social cohesion, tourism, and economic development. He won the 2026 mayoral election in the first round, leading a broad center-right coalition to become the youngest mayor to lead the city.
