Steevy Gustave

Steevy Gustave is a French politician, artistic producer, and former professional dancer who has served as a Member of the National Assembly for the 3rd constituency of Essonne since July 2024. Born in Arpajon in 1970, he spent his childhood in Chad and Djibouti before returning to France, where he became a 'pupil of the Nation' following his father's death. Gustave gained prominence as a hip-hop dancer and choreographer, notably working with France Gall, before transitioning into event production and political activism. A long-time member of the municipal council in Brétigny-sur-Orge, he previously served as a cabinet advisor to Minister of Justice Christiane Taubira, focusing on cultural access for incarcerated individuals. His political career is marked by a strong commitment to anti-racism and social equality, themes he continues to champion in the National Assembly as a member of the Committee on Cultural Affairs and Education.
