Stephanie Hansen

Stephanie Hansen is an American politician serving as a member of the Delaware Senate representing District 10. First elected in a 2017 special election, she has since been re-elected multiple times. Prior to her legislative career, she served as president of the New Castle County Council and worked as an environmental scientist and hydrologist for the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control. A graduate of the University of Delaware and Widener University School of Law, Hansen is recognized for her focus on environmental policy, energy sustainability, and constituent advocacy.
