Steven Jackson

Steven Jackson is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Louisiana House of Representatives for the 2nd district, having assumed office in 2024. Prior to his election to the state legislature, he served on the Caddo Parish Commission, where he focused on community development and affordable housing initiatives, including the creation of the Caddo Parish Housing Trust Fund. During his tenure in the state house, Jackson has authored legislation concerning economic development, such as the I-20 Economic Development District in Shreveport, and various commemorative measures. He is a member of the Democratic Party.
