Steven Jacob

Steven Jacob is an American politician serving as a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives for District 20B since 2023. A fourth-generation family farmer, he previously served as a county commissioner for Winona County, where he was involved with the Soil and Water Conservation Board and the Planning Commission. In the legislature, he serves on the Agriculture Finance and Policy and the Environment and Natural Resources Finance and Policy Committees. He is known for his conservative fiscal views, notably casting the sole vote against establishing Juneteenth as a state holiday due to concerns regarding government expansion.
