Вакарчук Святослав Иванович

Sviatoslav Vakarchuk is a Ukrainian musician, songwriter, and former politician. He is widely known as the lead singer and founder of the rock band Okean Elzy. Vakarchuk served as a People's Deputy of Ukraine in the 6th and 9th convocations and founded the political party Voice in 2019. Beyond his musical and political career, he holds a PhD in theoretical physics and has been recognized as a UN Goodwill Ambassador for youth in Ukraine. He has been an active participant in major Ukrainian political movements, including the Orange Revolution and the Euromaidan protests.
