Tamatha-Kaye Erin Paul is a New Zealand politician and activist currently serving as the Member of Parliament for Wellington Central. Before entering national politics, she was a prominent student leader and served as a Wellington City Councillor from 2019 to 2023. Paul is known for her advocacy on housing density, sustainable transport, and climate action, as well as her commitment to a Treaty-based model of governance that incorporates the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi. She is the first Māori representative for the Wellington Central electorate.
