Tangirala Sowmya is an Indian politician from Andhra Pradesh representing the Telugu Desam Party. She entered the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly by winning a 2014 by-election from the Nandigama constituency following the passing of her father, Tangirala Prabhakara Rao. She subsequently retained her seat in the 2024 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly Election and was appointed as a whip for the assembly in November 2024.
