Tanja Miščević

Tanja Miščević is a Serbian political scientist and academic who served as the Minister of European Integration from 2022 to 2025. An independent politician, she is widely recognized as an expert on European integration and played a pivotal role in Serbia's EU accession negotiations, serving as the head of the negotiating team from 2013 to 2019. Throughout her career, she has held various academic and government positions, including state secretary in the Ministry of Defence and deputy secretary general of the Regional Cooperation Council. She is a professor at the University of Belgrade's Faculty of Political Sciences and has been a vocal advocate for harmonizing Serbia's foreign policy with the European Union and implementing legal reforms to support democratic stability.
