Tapir Gao

Tapir Gao is an Indian politician currently serving as a Member of the Lok Sabha representing the Arunachal East constituency. A prominent member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), he has previously served as the president of the party's Arunachal Pradesh unit and as a national general secretary. Throughout his career, Gao has been a vocal advocate for the territorial integrity of Arunachal Pradesh, frequently urging the central government to update India's political maps to include specific border areas. He first entered the Lok Sabha in 2004 and returned to the house in 2019, continuing his long-standing involvement in regional and national politics.
