Taylan Kurt

Taylan Kurt is a German politician and a member of the Abgeordnetenhaus of Berlin, representing the constituency of Mitte 4. Born in West Berlin in 1988 to a family of Turkish descent, he studied political science and joined the Alliance 90/The Greens party in 2011. Before his election to the state parliament in 2021, he served in the district assembly of Berlin-Mitte, where he focused on social, economic, and integration issues. His political work emphasizes poverty reduction, housing policy, and social justice.
