Thomas Silberhorn

Thomas Silberhorn is a German lawyer and politician who has served as a member of the Bundestag representing Bavaria since 2002. A member of the Christian Social Union (CSU), he has held significant executive roles, including Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development from 2013 to 2017 and at the Federal Ministry of Defence from 2018 to 2021. Throughout his parliamentary career, he has been deeply involved in committee work concerning European affairs, legal issues, and foreign policy. Since the 2021 federal elections, he has served as his parliamentary group’s spokesperson for Transatlantic relations.
