Tim Macindoe

Tim Macindoe is a New Zealand politician currently serving as the Mayor of Hamilton, a position he assumed in 2025. Prior to his mayoral role, he served as a Member of Parliament for the Hamilton West electorate from 2008 to 2020, during which time he held ministerial positions including Minister of Customs. Before his parliamentary career, Macindoe worked as a secondary school teacher and deputy principal. Throughout his political career, he has maintained conservative positions on social issues, including opposing same-sex marriage and euthanasia legislation.
