Tim Wilson is an Australian politician serving as the Member of Parliament for the division of Goldstein. A member of the Liberal Party, he currently holds the position of Shadow Treasurer. Before his parliamentary career, Wilson served as Australia's Human Rights Commissioner from 2014 to 2016 and worked as a policy director at the Institute of Public Affairs. He is known for his advocacy on free speech, economic liberalism, and his support for same-sex marriage. Wilson previously represented the Goldstein electorate from 2016 to 2022 and was re-elected in 2025.
