Timo Furuholm

Timo Furuholm is a Finnish politician and former professional football forward who currently serves as a member of the Parliament of Finland. Born in Pori, he enjoyed a successful career in professional football, playing for clubs such as FC Inter Turku, Fortuna Düsseldorf, and Hallescher FC, and representing the Finnish national team. In 2020, he began studying social sciences at the University of Turku. Furuholm entered politics in 2021, winning a seat on the Turku city council before being elected to the national parliament in 2023 as a representative of the Left Alliance.
