Timothy P. Kerner Sr

Timothy P. Kerner Sr is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Louisiana House of Representatives for the 84th district, having assumed office in January 2020. Before his legislative career, he worked in the shrimp industry and served in the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office. He also served seven terms as the mayor of Jean Lafitte from 1992 to 2020, where he led significant infrastructure projects and successfully established the Lafitte Area Independent Levee District to secure funding for critical flood protection systems.
