Todd Ames Hunter

Todd Ames Hunter is an American politician and lawyer currently serving as a Republican member of the Texas House of Representatives for District 32. Born in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, in 1953, he earned his law degree from Southern Methodist University and has practiced law in Corpus Christi for several decades. Hunter initially served in the Texas House as a Democrat from 1989 to 1997 before returning to the legislature as a Republican in 2009. Throughout his tenure, he has held significant leadership roles, including chairing the House Calendars Committee and the House Committee on Redistricting, where he played a central role in drafting state legislative and congressional maps.
