Tom Kmiec

Tom Kmiec is a Polish-Canadian politician serving as the Member of Parliament for Calgary Shepard, a position he has held since 2015. Born in Gdańsk, Poland, he immigrated to Canada and later pursued studies in political science and American government. Before his election, he worked in policy research and government relations. Throughout his parliamentary career, Kmiec has served on several senior committees, including Finance and Foreign Affairs, and has held various shadow cabinet roles.
