Tom Lackey

Tom Lackey is an American politician and former law enforcement officer currently serving as a member of the California State Assembly. Representing the 34th district, he has focused his legislative career on public safety, including efforts to address drugged driving and child abuse reporting requirements. Prior to his state-level service, Lackey worked as a special education teacher and spent 28 years with the California Highway Patrol. He also served on the Palmdale Elementary School Board and the Palmdale City Council.
