Tonny Tesar

Tonny Tesar is an Indonesian politician currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia for the 2024–2029 term, representing the Papua electoral district. Since February 2025, he has been assigned to Commission XIII, which oversees regulatory reform and human rights. Prior to his current role, Tesar served as a member of the Regional Representative Council (DPD RI) for two terms between 2004 and 2012. He also held the position of Regent of Yapen Islands for two consecutive terms, from 2012 to 2022.
