Tracey McLellan is a New Zealand politician currently serving as a Member of the House of Representatives. An academic by background, she holds a PhD in psychology from the University of Canterbury and previously worked as a research scientist specializing in sports injuries and concussion, as well as a union organizer. First elected to Parliament in 2020, she has held various shadow cabinet portfolios, including Corrections and Associate Health, and currently serves as the junior whip for the Labour Party. Her legislative work includes successfully sponsoring a private member's bill to enhance protections for victims of sexual assault and family harm in the Family Court.
