Triin Varek

Triin Varek is an Estonian politician currently serving as the Mayor of Rakvere, a position she has held since October 2019. Born in 1977 in Rakvere, she holds a degree in international business from Concordia International University and a master's degree in social sciences from Tallinn University. Before entering politics, she gained extensive experience in the private sector, including over two decades of management in a family-owned medical supply business, and worked as a consultant for local government and entrepreneurship. Varek previously served as the Deputy Mayor of Rakvere from 2017 to 2019. She was a member of the Estonian Centre Party until 2023, when she joined the Isamaa party.
