Urban Granström

Urban Granström is a Swedish politician serving as the Mayor of Nyköping. Born in Luleå in 1973, he has been a prominent figure in local government for the Social Democratic Party. Granström previously served as the leader of the opposition in the municipal council during the 2006–2010 term before assuming his current role as the chair of the municipal executive board following the 2010 elections. He continues to lead the municipality, overseeing local policy and development initiatives in Nyköping.
