Usama Ghias Mela

Usama Ghias Mela is a Pakistani politician currently serving as a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan. He is the son of Ghias Mela, a former member of the National Assembly. Usama Mela first entered the political arena as a candidate for the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in the 2018 general election, where he was unsuccessful in his bid for the NA-89 Sargodha-II seat. He subsequently ran as an independent candidate supported by the PTI in the 2024 general election, where he successfully secured the NA-83 Sargodha-II seat by defeating his opponent, Mohsin Shahnawaz Ranjha, with 136,604 votes.
