Uta Wentzel

Uta Wentzel is a German politician and a member of the Landtag of Schleswig-Holstein, representing the Flensburg constituency since 2022. Before entering state politics, she worked as a journalist, a teacher, and a political aide, including serving as a press spokesperson and speechwriter for former Federal Interior Minister Thomas de Maizière. Her academic background includes studies in international cultural and economic relations at the University of Passau and the University of Buenos Aires. In the state parliament, she focuses on climate, education, economic, health, and tourism policy.
