Utaara Mootu

Utaara Mootu is a Namibian politician, youth leader, and activist who serves as a member of the National Assembly of Namibia representing the Landless People's Movement. Born in Windhoek, she studied Public Management and Political Science at the University of Namibia before becoming the interim national spokesperson for the LPM at the age of 22. In March 2020, she was sworn in as one of the youngest members of the 7th Parliament of Namibia, where she has been a vocal advocate for land justice, human rights, and educational equality.
